Description
Anthurium sp. nov. Dragon Heart is a new, previously undescribed Anthurium species from the Amazon basin. After two years of successful cultivation, we at Fordplants are delighted to offer these exceptional plants for the first time. Perhaps the most striking feature is the silvery shimmer of the leaves when illuminated. New leaves, depending on the clone, initially exhibit a deep red to orange hue. This is not a hybrid, but a new species that also impresses with its exceptional resilience. It tolerates both cool and high temperatures without any problems. The leaves are likely among the strongest and thickest of all known Anthuriums, even surpassing those of the popular Anthurium luxurians.
